Defibrillators
To Find a defibrillator
Emergency? Phone 999
The operator will tell you where the nearest one is.
They also know which ones are working and not already in use by someone else.
How to use a defibrillator
The Lions' defibrillators are housed in special cabinets in convenient places. The cabinets are locked, and you need an access code to open them.
The 999 operator will tell you where the nearest one is, and give you the code to unlock it.
Familiarise Yourself with Local Defibrillators
If you ever find you need one, you can save valuable seconds by knowing roughly where they are. Then you can start running immediately and phone 999 on your way. With 80% of incidents happening at home or at work, please take a few minutes to memorise your closest locations, if not all of them.
Public Access Defibrillators (PADs)
In 2016 Hook Odiham and Hartley Wintney Lions Club started a programme of funding for Public Access Defibrillators (PADs). Since then the club has purchased and installed 7 PADs for use in the Hook Odiham and Hartley Wintney area.
See below for a full list of defibrillator locations within the Hook Odiham and Hartley Wintney area:
