FUNFEST
FunFest is an annual fun day organised jointly by 7 local Lions Clubs for disabled people of all ages and their families and carers where a huge variety of attractions are offered entirely free of charge to all participants.
The event is usually attended by nearly 600 people with about 150 Lions running it. The form is of a FUN FAIR of stalls and games provided and manned by the Lions Clubs (with small prizes) and various hired professionals such as face painting, craft table, bouncy castle, inflatable slide, disco/karaoke, plus attractions such as an animal farm, drummers, balloon race, climbing wall, steam train, model aircraft, fire engine.
What is FunFest?
FunFest is a fun packed day for people with disabilities or special educational needs, their families and helpers.
There is no charge to attend but those wishing to attend should register.
The emphasis will be on music and fun, for people of all ages and abilities: a Giant slide, Trampolines, Barrel Train Rides and Pedal Go Karts plus Donkey rides and a Circus Skills Arena. Plus of course all your favourite side-shows.
Wheelchair friendly
The field is wheelchair friendly.
First aid
First aid facilities will be on site.

Food
A BBQ will be on site, selling beef burgers, vegi-burgers and hot-dogs.
- Burgers and hot dogs are £2.00 each
- Filled rolls will also be available at £1.00 each including a bag of crisps.
