Call usPeople's Emergency Briefing
If you care about local flooding, air pollution, the cost of living. . . you might want to catch this!
The HOHW Lions Club and the Rotary Club of Hook & Odiham, will be hosting a local screening of the People's Emergency Briefing. This film features footage from a national briefing, which brought together leading UK experts in climate science, food security, health, economics, national security and nature.
Location: Elizabeth Hall, Hook
Date: Monday 26 October 2026
Time: 7.00pm
Following the 50-minute film, we will facilitate a 45-minute structured discussion on what these issues mean for our local community and what we can do locally in response.
A follow up meeting - Ideas to Actions - will take place on Sunday 15th November from 14.30 to 16.30 at Elizabeth Hall. This follow-up session will build on the ideas and issues raised during the initial briefing. We will work in small groups and explore practical actions we can take locally. More information will be shared after the screening.
