Baton of Hope 2025 - 25th September 2025

The Baton of Hope 2025 is a national initiative aimed at raising awareness about suicide prevention. The tour started in Blackpool of 1st September 2025 and will visit 20 location across the UK.

Hook Odiham and Hartley Wintney Lions attend the Batton of Hope event at Odiham Wharf organised by Inclusion on the morning of Thursday 25th September 2025.

The event involved local residents carrying the baton in a relay style from Odiham Wharf to Basingstoke, whilst promoting conversations about mental health and support for those affected by suicide. 

The aim is to reduce stigma and foster unity within the suicide prevention community.
